Site surveys & fleet documentation

Robotics Site Surveys & Fleet Documentation

A site survey answers the physical questions your team cannot answer from a dashboard: what is actually installed, what condition it is in, where the docks are, and whether a site is ready for the next unit. Autonomy Field Services collects that information across distributed sites and returns it in the format your asset records require.

When a survey is useful

  • Establishing an accurate asset record for an installed base acquired, inherited, or grown quickly
  • Baseline condition before starting a PM or break/fix program
  • Deployment readiness before new units ship to a site
  • Verifying that docks, chargers, and network coverage match the deployment plan
  • Confirming units, serials, and locations for a customer, insurer, or finance record
  • Capturing exception reports when a site is underperforming

What is captured

  • Robot inventory by site, with model and serial-number capture
  • Firmware and configuration labels where visible
  • Site photography of units, docks, chargers, routes, and obstacles
  • Dock and charger location, condition, and power verification
  • Connectivity observations along the operating route
  • Physical-condition reporting against your checklist
  • Deployment-readiness findings and exceptions
  • Asset verification against the records you provide

How a survey program runs

Template
Your checklist, photo requirements, and record format define what the technician captures.
Sites
Locations, access requirements, and site contacts are confirmed before scheduling.
Visit
The technician completes the checklist, photographs the site, and records exceptions.
Delivery
Findings are reviewed and returned per site in the format your asset system or program needs.

Why outsource surveys and documentation

  • Get accurate physical data without sending internal staff to every location
  • Document many sites in parallel on one schedule
  • Use the same checklist and photo standard everywhere
  • Turn findings into planned deployment, PM, or repair work

Coverage

Autonomy Field Services supports commercial robotics deployments throughout Tennessee and the Southeast United States, including Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, and East Tennessee. Coverage for a specific site or program is confirmed during scoping, and multi-site programs beyond these markets are scoped case by case.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What format do survey results come in?

The format your program requires: a per-site report with photos and serials, a spreadsheet import for your asset system, or both, defined during scoping.

Can surveys be combined with other work?

Yes. A survey can be paired with a PM visit, a deployment readiness check, or a remote-hands session at the same site.

Do you verify network coverage?

Technicians record connectivity observations along the route as instructed. Formal RF surveys are not in scope unless defined in the program.
