Robotics Deployment & Installation Support

Robotics deployment support is the onsite work between a shipped robot and a working one: readiness checks, unboxing, assembly, charging and docking setup, connectivity, mapping assistance, testing, and handoff. Autonomy Field Services provides that work so your deployment team can run rollouts across many sites without traveling to each one.

Site readiness

Deployments slip when the site is not ready: no power at the dock location, no network coverage on the route, doors and ramps that do not match the plan, or a floor condition the robot cannot handle. A readiness visit or survey before the units ship confirms the physical facts, photographs the dock and route, and reports exceptions early enough to fix them.

What deployment support includes

  • Equipment receipt and inspection for shipping damage
  • Unboxing and staging
  • Assembly and accessory installation per the platform's instructions
  • Dock and charger placement and setup
  • Connectivity assistance: Wi-Fi coverage checks and device onboarding steps you authorize
  • Mapping assistance under direction of your deployment or support team
  • Deployment testing and route verification
  • Customer handoff support and basic operator orientation where requested
  • Installation documentation with photos, serials, and configuration notes

How a deployment event runs

Plan
You provide the deployment plan, platform procedure, site contacts, delivery schedule, and the tests that define done.
Readiness
Optional pre-deployment survey to confirm power, network, dock location, and route conditions.
Install
The technician receives, unboxes, assembles, places, and connects the unit as instructed, coordinating with your remote team for software steps.
Verify
Deployment tests and route runs are executed and results captured.
Hand off
The site contact is walked through the unit and the documentation package is submitted.

Multi-site rollouts

For a rollout across a retail chain, a hospital system, or a set of distribution centers, the same process is repeated on a schedule, with one operational contact coordinating access, deliveries, and technician assignments across sites. Deployment findings from early sites feed the checklist for later ones.

Why outsource deployment support

  • Run parallel installations without sending your team to every site
  • Keep your deployment engineers on the software and mapping decisions
  • Confirm site readiness before units ship
  • Get a consistent installation record for every unit and site
  • Hand off to the same partner for PM and break/fix after go-live

Coverage

Autonomy Field Services supports commercial robotics deployments throughout Tennessee and the Southeast United States, including Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, and East Tennessee. Coverage for a specific site or program is confirmed during scoping, and multi-site programs beyond these markets are scoped case by case.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you support multi-site deployments?

Yes. Rollouts are scheduled and coordinated across sites through one operational contact, with the same procedure and documentation at each location.

Who does the mapping and software configuration?

Your deployment or support team directs those steps. The technician provides the onsite assistance and executes the actions you authorize.

Can you check a site before the robot ships?

Yes. A readiness survey confirms power, network, dock placement, and route conditions and reports exceptions before delivery.

What does the installation documentation include?

Photos, serials, dock and charger placement, configuration notes, test results, and any exceptions, in the format your program requires.
